Functieomschrijving en taken

Van onze nieuwe collega verwachten wij dat hij/zij

• De kwaliteit van producten/ingrediënten beoordeelt en klaarzet
• De basis-kooktechnieken toepast en gerechten volgens receptuur en kwaliteitsnormen bereidt en presenteert.
• Uitvoert van voorbereidende werkzaamheden (snijden, mengen, etc.) en tussentijdse kwaliteitscontroles.
• Verantwoordelijk is voor voorraad- en bestelbeheer, en het schoonhouden van de keuken en apparatuur.
• Vaktechnisch de hulpkracht(en) aanstuurt en input levert ten aanzien van de samenstelling en wijziging van menu’s, de kaart en de methoden.
• Meedenkt over verbeteringen in de keuken.
• In staat is om junior medewerkers in de keuken te begeleiden.

Jouw profiel

• MBO 3 werk- en denkniveau.
• Iemand die aantoonbare kennis heeft van de basis kooktechnieken.
• Goede communicatieve vaardigheden in het Engels /Nederlands

Job Description and Tasks: From our new colleague, we expect that he/she will:

• Prepares the ingredients for the dishes and assess the quality of the products/ingredients.
• Applies basic cooking techniques, prepares and presents dishes according to recipes and quality standards.
• Carries out preparatory work (cutting, mixing, etc.) and intermediate quality controls.
• Is responsible for inventory and order management, and keeping the kitchen and equipment clean.
• Professionally supervises assistant(s) and provides input regarding the composition and modification of menus, the menu card, and methods.
• Contributes ideas for kitchen improvements.
• Is able to guide junior staff in the kitchen.

Your Profile:

• MBO 3 working and thinking level.
• Someone who has demonstrable knowledge of basic cooking techniques.
• Good communication skills in English /Dutch.
