Restaurant Mia-Asian Bistro Nijmegen B.V. te Nijmegen zoekt 3 zelfstandig werkend kok-I. Restaurant MIA is een Aziatische shared dining restaurant in Nijmegen. Onze menukaart bestaat uit Aziatisch gerechten van alle Aziatische landen. We hebben een gezellig multicultureel jong team. We organiseren minimaal twee keer per jaar toffe team activiteiten. Ervaring in de Aziatische keuken is geen vereiste, wij bieden training on the job aan. Er zijn altijd doorgroeimogelijkheden. Wat verwachten wij van jou? Het kunnen werken met HACCP, Arbo, veiligheidsvoorschriften Werk instructies opvolgen volgens onze receptuur Efficiënt kunnen werken in de keuken (werkprocessen) Dagelijkse mise en place voorbereiding op voorraad niveau Tijdig doorgeven van de bestellingen Goederen op de juiste manier opslaan fifo- principe Schoonmaak volgens de schoonmaak rooster uitvoeren Kleine storingen en of bijzonderheden en mankementen zelfstandig oplossen Stressbestendigheid tijdens de piekuren Tussentijdse kwaliteitscontroles kunnen uitvoeren en bijstellen op gaarheid, smaak, kleur, vloeibaarheid e.d. Leiding geven aan hulpkrachten Verbetervoorstellen van werkinstructies en recepten aanpassen en verbeteren

• Nederlands of Engels spreekt

Job description

Restaurant Mia-Asian Bistro Nijmegen BV in Nijmegen is looking for 3 independent working chef -I. Restaurant MIA is an Asian shared dining restaurant in Nijmegen. Our menu features Asian dishes from all over Asia. We have a friendly, multicultural, young team. We organize fun team activities at least twice a year. Experience in Asian cuisine is not required; we offer on-the-job training. There are always opportunities for growth. What do we expect from you? Ability to work according to HACCP, occupational health and safety regulations. Ability to follow work instructions according to our recipes. Ability to work efficiently in the kitchen (work processes). Ability to prepare mise en place according to inventory level. Ability to submit orders on time. Ability to store goods correctly (FIFO principle). Ability to clean according to the cleaning schedule. Ability to independently resolve minor malfunctions and/or unusual issues and defects. Ability to handle stress during peak hours. Ability to perform interim quality checks and adjust for doneness, taste, color, consistency, etc. Ability to supervise assistants. Ability to suggest improvements to work instructions and recipes.
